The MLV3 is CE Certified to the new European Horse Riding Standard CE NF572-800 2022. This is the latest in the MLV series of award winning airbags which have all been subjected to testing by top test centres across the world. The air bag is triggered when the rider and horse become separated to provide a stabilizing, shock buffering system for added protection to the areas most vulnerable to serious injury.

 

The adjustability of this unique light weight design allows the MLV3 to be worn over changing layers, making it suitable for all riding disciplines. They are extremely flexible – for ultimate comfort and freedom of movement while riding, providing optimal protection on inflation. Hit air vests are also renowned for being outward inflating which removes the risk of winding on inflation.

 

The unique airbag construction exceeds the required CE Certification standards as the airbag is sandwiched between shock absorbing pads for enhanced shock absorption. The airbags also have optimal body coverage with unique neck brace style protection, rib air bags and coverage of the lower back in addition to the chest and spine. This vest is certified to be worn alone or it can be layered over any level 3 body protector, which is mandatory for Cross Country.

 

The technical outer fabric has stood the test of time and is designed for year round wear in all seasons and can withstand the extreme forces of a fall. Annual Servicing is recommended and is carried out by a specialist, experienced team in the UK. No protection can help riders in all circumstances but Hit Air vests are designed to reduce the risk of serious injuries to the areas covered on inflation. The current offer includes the air vest, saddle strap, lanyard, canister and full instructions which you must read carefully before using your Hit-Air vest. The XS (Kids) vest and the Small take the 50cc and the Medium and Large vests take 60cc. The minimum weight for the XS (Kids) vest is 25kg. The adult small minimum weights is 35kg.
